Kasambahay payroll by the Batas Kasambahay.
RA 10361 has its own rules for contracts, payslips, contributions and leave. Payslip.ph follows them for a single household or for a placement agency running payroll for many households.
- Below ₱5,000 a month, the employer pays both the employer and employee shares of SSS, PhilHealth and Pag-IBIG
- Five days of service incentive leave after one year, not cumulative and not converted to cash
- A written contract on DOLE Form BK-1 and a payslip on Form BK-2 every payday
- A certificate of employment on Form BK-3 when the work ends
For placement agencies and the households they serve
Households as employers
Each household is the employer of record, with its own SSS household employer number, pay schedule and payslips. The agency processes everything on its behalf.
Placements and BK-1 contracts
Placing a kasambahay with a household creates the employment, the starting wage and a BK-1 contract draft ready to sign in three copies.
BK-2 payslips
A payslip every payday showing the cash paid and each deduction, with copies kept for the three years the law requires.
Contributions and remittances
SSS, PhilHealth and Pag-IBIG computed with the below-₱5,000 rule, and the remittance list per household each month.
BK-3 certificates
When a kasambahay leaves, final pay is computed and the BK-3 certificate of employment is ready to issue.
Placement fees
Record the placement fee and deployment expenses for each placement, and see the fees across your active placements.

Questions
Who pays SSS, PhilHealth and Pag-IBIG for a kasambahay?
Under RA 10361, when the kasambahay earns less than ₱5,000 a month the employer pays both the employer and employee shares. At ₱5,000 or more the shares are split in the normal way, with the kasambahay's share deducted from pay.
Is a kasambahay entitled to 13th month pay?
Yes. A kasambahay who has worked at least one month in the year is entitled to 13th month pay of at least one twelfth of the basic salary earned in the year, payable by 24 December. Our free 13th month pay calculator works for kasambahay too.
Can unused leave of a kasambahay be converted to cash?
No. The five days of service incentive leave under the Batas Kasambahay are not cumulative and cannot be converted to cash, unlike service incentive leave under the Labor Code.
What are Forms BK-1, BK-2 and BK-3?
They are the DOLE standard forms for household work: BK-1 is the employment contract, BK-2 is the payslip given every payday, and BK-3 is the certificate of employment issued when the work ends.
Does this apply to cleaning service companies?
When a company employs the workers itself and sends them to clients' homes, those workers are regular employees under the Labor Code, not kasambahay. Payslip.ph handles both.
